"Steer Clear if You're in the UK"
EDIT: Their website shows an 8.2/10 rating from 12 customers, but hop over to Trustpilot and you'll find 122 reviews averaging 3.6/5. You're led to believe you're dealing with a UK company thanks to the UK domain and customer service number, but don't be fooled by the supposed good ratings on Trustpilot. If I could share screenshots, I would to support my claims. I'm really let down.

For anyone in the UK, I strongly advise against ordering from this company. The import fees from the Netherlands are way too high, and if you decide to return something, you're stuck with the shipping costs. The savings on products just don’t make up for the extra expenses. I really wish I had just gone with Amazon.

"Extremely let down by pricing..."
I was really let down by the pricing. Everything was shown in £ with free shipping, but there was no clear info about the extra charges for imports since the stuff came from the EU. Ended up paying way more than I thought I would.

"Denim from ASA Selection Saisons"
The ASA Selection Saisons Denim is stylish and well-crafted. I was drawn to it because of the range of sizes for the plates and bowls. My order shipped from the Netherlands, and I ended up paying import VAT along with a brokerage fee, which caught me off guard. Unfortunately, one plate and one bowl arrived broken, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Etrias Lifestyle stores about this issue. So far, the customer service team has been really helpful with shipping updates and all that.

"Couldn't get a straight answer about a product"
I called up Cookwarestore to find out where a specific item they sell was made, since the company that makes it recently moved production from Germany to China, and that change supposedly affects quality. The person I talked to at Cookwarestore insisted that the item was made in The Netherlands. I pointed out that while Cookwarestore is indeed based in The Netherlands, the product I was inquiring about has never been produced there. I kept asking politely for the right info and was told someone would reach out to me in a few days. Fast forward to now, nearly two months later, and I still haven't heard back about my simple question. I was ready to drop some serious cash on a pricey item from them. Clearly, Cookwarestore isn't too keen on handling customer inquiries, so I decided against making a purchase. It's baffling how poor some customer service has become these days.

"Import Tax Surprise on Cookware Order"
I placed an order with Cookware because they had a UK phone number, not realizing it would be routed to the Netherlands. After I ordered, I got a thank-you email, followed by another one from UPS asking for £43.00 in import fees (I thought it was a scam at first). Our total order was just £150.00, which included a £10.00 delivery charge. UPS showed up with the items, but we had to cough up the import fees. I reached out to Cookware (Etrias) about this, but they couldn’t help me out. They mentioned that there was some red text I should have noticed when I ordered, but I missed it. It said you might incur extra charges, not that you definitely will, and it didn’t specify how much. So, just a heads up—be super cautious when ordering from the EU.

"Excuses About Brexit Are Everywhere..."
There’s a ton of excuses floating around regarding Brexit, and while I’m not a Brexiteer, we really need to figure out how to do business with the continent in a better, more convenient, and cost-effective way. I placed an order for two boxes of wine glasses. The price was decent, and I knew there would be a bit of a wait for delivery. Unfortunately, one glass in one of the boxes arrived broken, which was a bummer since I ended up with just 11 glasses! This brings me back to the business side of things... I won’t send them back because I’d have to cover the shipping costs, and replacing the broken glass means I’d have to pay for shipping on the new box too. It just doesn’t make sense for one glass. If we want to keep getting good products at fair prices, we really need to find a better way to handle business with the continent, especially if we want our relationship to grow and thrive. Honestly, I’m not likely to place another order until things get more convenient and financially sensible.

"Delivery Process Was a Hassle"
Happy with the product, but the shipping was a bit of a mess. Had to cough up Duty, VAT, and a Brokerage Fee that added up to more than 30% of what I paid for the item. Folks in the UK should watch out since the stuff comes from The Netherlands.

"Avoid! Poor communication regarding a damaged package."
My parcel was wrecked and never showed up. I've spent more than a month trying to get answers from Etrias and DPD, only to discover it was destroyed! Neither of them reached out to me proactively.

"Fantastic support and customer care..."
Superb support and customer care, especially since I found myself in a bit of a bind ordering right before the 31st of December. My delivery came after that date, so I ended up facing a double whammy with VAT and import fees. But everything was resolved swiftly, and my item arrived. Much appreciated!

"VAT Messages Missing During Checkout"
I didn’t see any UK VAT messages while I was buying. Now I’m hearing they’ve been added. They’ve also started showing a note about return shipping fees. The website has a .co.uk domain, but it’s not actually based in the UK. I ended up with import fees of £40.75, and UPS hit me with an extra £11.50 just to handle that fee, which is about 28% of the total import costs. Seriously, if you’re not operating from the UK, stop selling here. A .co.uk address makes it seem like you’re UK-based, but that’s not the case.

"Not obvious that this business operates from abroad!"
This business is located in the Netherlands, even though they use a .co.uk website and a UK phone number. It wasn’t made clear at all, and I also wasn’t informed about the Import VAT and customs fees I’d have to cough up to the courier (UPS) for delivery - since this company is in Europe. While the customs and VAT are part of UK/EU regulations and not something Cookwarestore can control, it feels a bit misleading on their end. Had I known they were overseas, I would’ve (sadly) chosen a UK-based retailer. Not happy with this experience. Customer service was really lacking too. Delivery was late. STAY AWAY.

"Awesome range of items"
Awesome range of items. I got 4 products, but 2 of 'em were unavailable for timely delivery before Christmas. Etrias was super apologetic and quick to give me choices: wait, pick something else, or get my money back. I had to go with the last option for practical reasons, and I was refunded in no time. Really good customer service from my experience, and I'd definitely suggest them.
